About Us
Yasmine Russell was born in Toledo, Ohio in 1979 to parents Ruth and Michael. Yasmine then moved to a very small town, Media, Ill in 1993 with her mother, stepfather and three of her younger siblings. Yasmine attended Southern Jr. High School and Southern High School where she graduated in 1998. Yasmine developed a taste for history and learning about other cultures during her school years. Yasmine joined the National Guard at 17 with her best friend for two years to figure out life and evolve as a young woman. Growing up tomboyish, Yasmine held jobs such as a Technician at Valvoline to an Assistant Manager for a gas station. Yasmine also joined the Naval Reserves for almost six years and received a release to go Active Army. Life was not always kind, but she always found her way through the journey. Yasmine possesses a bachelor’s degree in social work, as well as in business. Yasmine has worked the last six years for one of the biggest names in the automobile industry and regularly travels the world when the opportunity presents itself. Yasmine has two daughters and takes care of her great nephew. Yasmine is a dreamer with an active imagination, who loves helping others. Yasmine loves to love; fitting with this, Yasmine hopes that you will enjoy getting lost in the pages of this amazing love filled journey.
